At the centre of the event is Wanda Broom, a young girl with one big problem; her mum is a witch and Wanda wishes she was not. From there, the story unfolds into a whirlwind of spells gone wrong, bubbling potions and magical chaos, giving children the chance to step into Wanda’s imaginative world.
Ciara Geraghty, author of ten books, brings her writing to life in a way that is likely to appeal to young readers who enjoy humour, adventure and stories with a magical twist. Hosted in Rush Library, the event offers a relaxed and engaging way for children to connect with books and storytelling during the Easter break.
