About Púca Halloween Festival
Púca Festival 2025
Step into the birthplace of Halloween for an unforgettable four-day celebration of Samhain in County Meath. The Púca Festival returns to the historic towns of Trim and Athboy, blending ancient tradition with modern magic in a spellbinding celebration of folklore, fire and festivity.
Experience the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East as shapeshifting spirits, storytellers and musicians bring Samhain to life through music, performance and myth. Highlights include the breathtaking Púca Procession in Trim, where fire, drums and spectacle fill the streets, and the Lighting of the Samhain Fire, a powerful ritual honouring the ancestors as the veil between worlds grows thin.
Rooted in local heritage yet vibrantly contemporary, Púca Festival connects past and present through immersive experiences, craft, culture and creativity. Whether you’re following the procession, joining the fireside celebrations or dancing into the night under the Big Top, Púca promises a truly otherworldly Halloween adventure.
