Breakfast with Santa and the Grinch – Secret Valley Wildlife Park

Start the season with a warm and friendly festive breakfast at The Hungry Tortoise Café. Families can enjoy a relaxed morning where Santa, Cindy Lou and the Grinch drop in for greetings, photographs and plenty of Christmas cheer. Each family spends time with Santa to share wishes and capture the moment, keeping the experience calm and personal.

Children leave with a selection box to round off their morning. This experience takes place in the café only and does not include park entry, making it a simple and enjoyable way to begin the Christmas celebrations.

Christmas After Dark – Secret Valley Wildlife Park

Running 13th, 14th 20th & 21st December

Christmas After Dark invites families to explore the zoo as evening approaches, offering a peaceful view of the animals as the day winds down. Once the walk ends, the trail leads to Elf Village where workshops, crafts and festive surprises create an imaginative setting for children.

Young visitors can make reindeer dust, create toy pieces alongside the elves and send a letter through the Elf Post Office, which prompts a reply to arrive at home. The Grinch’s Lair adds a light touch of mischief before the night ends with a tractor ride through the grounds. Children receive a hot chocolate and a selection box, while adults enjoy a tea or Americano. It is a cosy and memorable winter experience for families.
