If it seems that all your friends ever post are photos of their children, you’re probably right.
A new study of parents behaviour by Facebook IQ shows that parents post double the amount of photos, videos and status updates.
New parents still find the time to engage socially; 57% of new parents have checked Facebook before 7am with some starting as early as 4am. When you have a new baby, you have to find the time
"The arrival of a baby transforms a parent’s life in an instant: less “gym Tuesdays” or “happy hour Fridays” and more afternoon power napping after late-night feedings. As children turn parents’ focus close to home, parents are relying on their mobile phones to stay connected to family and friends".
But we don’t seem to mind. New parent posts about their babies receive 37% more interactions from family and 47% more from their friends that their general posts.
Aw, we just can’t resist cute baby photos.
