A syndicate of twenty-two Dublin Bus drivers are reported to have the winning ticket in last week's EuroMillions draw.

The crew, made up of drivers based in a North Dublin garage, picked the winning numbers in Friday night’s jackpot, according to today's Sunday World newspaper.

“Yeah it was us alright,” one of the drivers told the Sunday World.

“We haven’t all spoken to each other yet so I’m not even sure how much we will walk away with."

The jackpot is the country’s ninth since the European lottery was first launched in 2004.

The winning numbers were 2, 11, 13, 40 & 50 and Lucky Stars were 1 & 10.

Players must match all five main numbers and two lucky star numbers to claim the jackpot.
