A missing three-year-old girl from Aberdeen has been reunited with her parents after a Facebook appeal to find them went viral.

The toddler, who was spotted walking around with just a nappy near an Asda shopping centre yesterday evening, was reunited with her parents after a quick thinking solicitor posted a message on Facebook.

The youngster had been missing for around an hour and was found by police in the area and her parents were located after the post was shared over 500 times.

The Evening Express reports a Police Scotland spokeswoman saying : “Police received a concern call about 6.30pm last night after a young girl left her family home without them knowing.

“She came to no harm and was reunited with her parents later in the evening.”
