The mother of a two year old boy who fell from the sixth floor of a hotel in Limerick said she is “overwhelmed” by the love and support she has received since the accident.
The boy was injured after he fell from the balcony of The Strand Hotel, Limerick last on Saturday.
The boy was treated at the scene by a local doctor before being brought to University Hospital Limerick and then on to Temple Street Children’s Hospital
The boy’s mother posted on Facebook that "despite sustaining serious injury we are pleased he is now stable"
In the post, published in the Irish Times, she said that the family are “overwhelmed, yet again of the amazing love and support of wonderful family and many many friends and neighbours.”
