Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? Bookmakers are hoping that it doesn't snow as the recent change in the weather has convinced some punters that it's going to happen.

Paddy Power is offering odds of 7/2 that there will be snow on Christmas day in Dublin, Cork, Manchester or London with Glasgow having the shortest odds of 10/3.

Ladbrooks recently slashed their odds of snow falling Cork, Knock or Shannon from 5/1 to 3/1.

However, Boylesports remain unconvinced and are offering odds of 11/2 that snow will fall anywhere in Ireland.

The recent snowfall across the UK saw bookmakers Coral to slash the odds of a white Christmas from 4-6 to 1-4

There will be no comment from Met Eireann until much nearer the time and the UK Met Office will not issue a Christmas forecast until the start of December.

However, willigetawhitechristmas.com predicts Dublin has a 50% chance of snow.
