A five year old Irish boy was rushed to hospital after nearly drowning in a hotel swimming pool.
The boy was pulled from the water at El Pinar Hotel in Cala Llonga by a lifeguard and given CPR beside the pool.
He was transferred to the island’s hospital after the incident last Friday before being transferred Son Espases Hospital on the neighbouring island of Majorca.
The Independent reports that the boy was now recovering in hospital and was “out of danger.”
“The life guard did a fantastic job. He saved the boy’s life".
