Leroy Black, who died this week at the age of 55, had two obituaries published in the local newspaper by two different women.

Mr. Black passed away on Tuesday from “cancer of the lungs due to fiberglass exposure" in Atlantic City.

Two obituaries for Leroy Black appeared on page D6 of Friday’s Press of Atlantic City.

It might have first looked like a printing error when two identical-looking listings appeared on top of one another, but the two different obituaries were placed by his wife and girlfriend, respectively.

Greenidge Funeral Homes told PhillyVoice that the obituaries were placed separately because "the wife wanted it one way, and the girlfriend wanted it another way."
