Brothers Andrew and Matt Ryan make a moving video about their mum Kathy who suffers from Early Onset Alzheimer’s disease.

The boys made the video on behalf of the Alzeimher Society of Ireland in an effort to encourage people to sign a petition in support of funding to enable people with dementia to live at home with their families as long as possible.

The brother go on to say that their mother “deserves to be remembered, even when she forgets herself.”

“She is still a mom, daughter, sister and a friend.”

Their mother finishes the video, breaking the silence to say: “I’m Kathy and I have dementia. I still have a voice. Please listen to it.”
