Tayto Park just keeps on getting better and better.
The theme park and zoo set in Ashbourne, Co. Meath is already one of the most popular things to do in Ireland.
Tayto Park Theme Park & Zoo offers over 100 attractions in the theme park & zoo and also has a fantastic outdoor playground as well as being a great place for a picnic although really good home-cooked food is served in the restaurant.
However, they refuse to sit still and continue to expand every year by offering visitors more things to do on a fun-filled family day out in Meath.
The new theme park attraction will be a Viking-themed flume ride. It is already under construction and will be open in just a few months.
Founder Ray Coyle said: “We are delighted to announce our new and exciting attraction 'The Viking Voyage at the Park'. We are dedicated to bringing cutting-edge attractions to Tayto Park and this particular ride is one of a kind. We are very excited to unveil it to the public in the coming months."
With 1.7 million litres of water, a Viking village, five replica Viking ships and 20 life-size Vikings, the latest addition to Ireland’s favourite theme park and zoo is set to be a huge favourite with families looking to cool down on a hot summers day.
Tayto Park is scheduled to reopen for its seventh season just before Easter on April 7th.
