Chair Lift: The Charli chair wants to keep you upright while you wash your baby

My Mum used the kitchen sink, we tried a bucket but now there is a chair.

Some parents have real difficulty with baby bath time.

Whether it is the constant kneeling and stretching as your baby slips and slides around the bath, the pain in your knees and back or maybe even living in an apartment without a bath, the Charli Chair aims to help.

Desgined by parents who had the same issues with their child Charli-Rose, they aim to take the pain and stress out of bath time by producing a chair that allows you to wash your baby in the shower!

The five point harness keeps the newborn in place. The chair is elevated to the required height. The seat may be tilted to the required angle according to preference. It also helps avoid future struggles as the child will become accustomed to the shower from birth. The CharliChair prevents the pain parents feel from bended backs and knees on a tiled floor.

Produced in Australia, I don't think they are available for retail yet in Ireland but can be purchased on Amazon for €112 with another €135 shippings and tax charges.

It adds a whole new meaning to the term "baby shower"!
