Monday will be mostly dry and bright in many areas with some sunny spells but the weather then becomes very wet at times during the rest of the week

Met Eireann report that there will be rain tomorrow morning throughout the country with "some heavy or thundery downpours for a time in eastern areas."

The forecast is for changeable and unsettled weather rest of the week with periods of birght weather, mainly dry conditions and scattered showers, heavy in places.

On Thursday, the rain may be heavier in the west and in the north on Friday.

Early indications for the weekend are that there will be a good deal of dry weather with a few scattered showers.
