Jameson Distillery

Founded by John Jameson in 1780, Jameson Distillery Bow St. stands on the site of the original Jameson whiskey factory and remains one of Dublin’s best known visitor attractions. Located in Smithfield, the former distillery offers guided experiences that explore the history, craft and global story of Irish whiskey within a restored historic setting. The Bow St. Experience is a fully guided tour led by trained ambassadors, taking visitors through the distillery buildings and story galleries while explaining the Jameson journey from grain to glass. The tour begins with a welcome drink chosen from a selection of Jameson signature serves, enjoyed as visitors explore the exhibition spaces and learn about the brand’s origins and production methods. A comparative tasting of three Jameson whiskeys forms part of the standard tour, offering insight into flavour and style. Non alcoholic ticket options are available for those who do not drink, including designated drivers and anyone who prefers to skip the tasting, allowing them to take part in the full guided experience without alcohol.
