Minimum 7 years old and 1 metre tall Lough Key Course Information Zipit swung into action at Lough Key Forest Park in 2011. With over 1.5km of activities, including 900m of ziplines, Zipit Lough Key provides an exhilarating and challenging outdoor activity. Lough Key Forest Park is renowned for its stunning views, varied wildlife and historic buildings. With a woodland of broadleaf and conifer trees, wild bluebells and a wonderful scent of wild garlic, walking through this magical park is a must! As the seasons change, Zipit offers a different experience with the ever-changing foliage at Lough Key. Lough Key Forest Park has a wonderful Visitor Centre with a treetop canopy walk, indoor activity (Boda Borg maze), outdoor adventure playground for children and a Lakeside Cafe. There are toilets available in the Visitor Centre and parking is €4.00. There are plenty of open areas to picnic or even barbeque, as well as a fantastic lake with great water activities and boats for hire. Bike hire is also available in the park. Yes, we have zip lines on every circuit – 900m in total! How long is the longest zip line? It’s on the Blue Circuit and it is150m. What sort of activities will I be doing? Rope bridges, tightropes, cargo nets, climbing walls, zip lines, surfboard, ladders, BMX, base jumps. How long will it take? Between 3 and 4 hours, as a guideline. Can anyone do it? Minimum age is 7 years. Minimum Height is 1m.
