Bantry Agricultural Show

The 23rd Bantry Agricultural Show takes place this Sunday in 'The Beaches'. There will be the usual competition classes as well as a special needs & day care category, children’s section for baking, flowers and arts & crafts. As well as the competitions, there will be lots of family entertainment, vintage displays and live music. 

Murrisk Pattern & Family Day

Fun family day out on Sunday afternoon featuring food and craft stalls, including the award winning chef Myles O'Brien serving freshly made food on site, clew bay cookies, Grove Jam, Cupz and Crepes, a large kids entertainment area which will include Rinka, which will have classes every 30 minutes, petting zoo, football stand and the The Great Murrisk Bake Off.

Electric Picnic

It might be one of the last of the summer festivals but it's also one of the most anticipated. Headline acts this year include Kendal Lamar, Massive Attack, N*E*R*D and Dua Lipa but Electric Picnic is so much more than a music festival with comedy, talks and chill-out zones ensuring a fun weekend regardless of your tastes.

Milford Hospice Harvest Fair

The annual fundraiser for the Milford Hospice takes place on Sunday, 2nd September in grounds of UCL with entertainment, raffles, kids zone, BBQ, cakes stall, pancakes, pig on a spit, popcorn,the wheel of fortune, many stalls selling lots of goodies, and lots lots more.

Titanic Belfast Exhibition

The Danger Tree, a ground-breaking visual arts exhibition marking 100 years since the end of WWI, concludes this weekend in The Andrews Gallery at Titanic Belfast this August!

The free exhibition commemorating World War I is comprised of a collection of original paintings and limited edition prints which use augmented reality to tell the compelling story of a different soldiers who fought and fell during WW1.

IFI Film Festival

The IFI Family Festival starts next Friday and includes its usual mix of beautiful short films, features from across the globe, and fun special guests. The festival will open with a special travel-themed event, followed by the Irish première of animation Marnie’s World.

Family Fun Day

A fun day out to promote the 'Save Our Skibbereen' campaign, hosted in the magnificent Inish Beg estate on Sunday from 2pm. There will be music, games, entertainers & food. 

Air Waves

One of Ireland's biggest air show takes place this weekend with two-days of spectacular displays in Port Stewart. This free event is popular with all ages with a spectacular air display along the northern coast and lots of fun activities on land too.

Royal Meath Show

Proudly supporting North East MS therapy centre in Trim, the 78th show takes place in Sunday with competitions, craft and cooking demonstraions, dog show, live music from Eimear Furlong and Matt Leavy and the All-Ireland final on a big screen. 


A festival that happens at harvest time Feast Cork, from 2nd - 9th September is a fresh blend of conversations, dinners, markets, foraging, mixology, produce, producers, landscape, heritage and storytelling. 

The Totally Terrific Tomato Festival

Do you like tomatoes? Over 200 different varieties remain be on display in the Teak House in the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin until the festival ends this Sunday.

India Day

The 4th India Day takes place to Farmleigh Gardens next weekend, commemorating India’s Independence and Irish – Indian friendship. Enjoy Indian and World cuisine with colorful Indian folk, classical & Bollywood dances, fashion show, concert, trade stalls and more.
