The Tullow Agricultural Show returns on Sunday 16th August 2026 to its showgrounds at Coppenagh, just outside Tullow. Also known as the County Carlow Show, it is one of Ireland’s longest-running agricultural shows and one of the largest one-day events in the South East, welcoming thousands of visitors each year.
Founded in 1946, the show celebrates the very best of farming, food and rural life with a packed programme of competitions, demonstrations and family entertainment. Visitors can enjoy livestock and equestrian classes, prestigious All-Ireland championship competitions, vintage and farm machinery displays, domestic arts and craft exhibitions, along with a wide range of trade and food stands.
Families will find plenty to enjoy throughout the day, including children’s entertainment, live music and dancing, celebrity chef cookery demonstrations and attractions for all ages. Whether you’re interested in agriculture, shopping, local food or simply looking for a great summer day out, the Tullow Agricultural Show continues to be one of County Carlow’s standout annual events.
