Marlhill Open Farm
About Marlhill Open Farm
Marlhill Open Farm is a family-run open farm near Cahir and Cashel, designed with young families in mind. Opened by the Fitzgerald family in 2021, the farm offers a relaxed and welcoming day out where children can meet animals, enjoy indoor and outdoor play areas, and explore a range of family-friendly activities.
Visitors can get up close to donkeys, goats, rabbits, lambs, piglets, calves and a variety of birds, alongside much-loved farm favourites. The farm also features pedal go-karts, a sandpit, mini diggers, air hockey, a playground and the popular quad-pulled barrel train.
Families can unwind in the on-site café, which serves fresh ground coffee, homemade treats, pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, paninis and children’s favourites including goujons, sausages and chips.
There is also an indoor toddler area and soft play frame, free parking for cars and buses, WiFi and a private breastfeeding room for added comfort and convenience.
Designed from the Fitzgerald family’s own experiences visiting attractions across Ireland and Wales, Marlhill Open Farm combines animal encounters, play and café facilities to create a fun and easy-going family day out in the heart of Tipperary.
