Our family run zoo with its relaxing atmosphere offers visitors a chance to get closer to nature. Join in our keeper talks, handling and feeding sessions which happen throughout the day.
Or why not try one of our animal experiences where you can get a chance to be a keeper for a day or you can just meet the Meerkats!!
If that is not enough for you, you can try our adventure hunts and arts and crafts. There are also indoor and outdoor play areas, obstacle course and Quad train to enjoy.

Plan Your Day
At Secret Valley we want to give our visitors an unforgettable experience, joining in with our animal interactions sessions allows visitors to get up close to animals which they might never have had a chance to before. For our younger visitors, this can open up a whole new world and teach them all about caring for animals.
We also want our visitors to enjoy our whole park. Areas of the park have been allowed to go wild to provide a natural environment for the many native species we have living here.
o explore all areas of the park visitors can participate in our Adventure hunts and with a large outdoor play area, obstacle course, wild golf and an indoor play area with an art table which are all included in the admission price.
For our thrill-seeking visitors try a spin on our quad train for an exciting view of the park (Nominal 2 euro per person applies).
Keeper Talks
Our keeper will be on hand to give talks on habitat, behaviour and conservation issues affecting species worldwide. You will learn about our family groups their personalities and how we see the zoo helping in the future. So why not join in during the day!!

Daily Activity Timetable
11.00 – Bottle feeding: Get a chance to help feed our baby goats, they love their bottles
11.30 – Bugs and things: Conquer your fears and meet the scorpion, tarantula and snake or be brave and hold a stick insect or cockroach
11.45 – Furry Encounters: Get to rub one of our friendly guinea pigs and Ted or Dougal the rats, meet the ferret and rabbits
12.30 – 1.30 – Pony Rides and Lemur Walk-through: Snowball loves this time of day as he gets to give all the girls and boys a short ride on his back. (One ride/child). Also at this time Lenny and Penny our white-fronted brown lemur pair are waiting to meet you in their walk-through enclosure. Keeper talks are ongoing in the walk-through throughout the hour. (Subject to change)
2.00 – Bottle Feeding: Those baby goats are hungry again and wanting their dinner
2.30 – Meerkat Talk and Feed: Learn all about our mad mob of Meerkats, what they like to eat? How they survive in the wild etc
2.45 -Capuchin Talk and Feed: Find out all about not just our special family of black-capped and tufted capuchins, but also about capuchins in general! Where do they come from? What do they eat? ect
3.00 – 4.00 Pony Rides and Lemur Walk-through: Snowball is waiting to meet the girls and boys again along with Lenny and Penny (subject to change)

Little Helper
This is a real up close and personal experience for the young animal lover, get to work with our keepers, feed our smaller animals and make enrichment toys for some of our exotics.

Senior Keeper

Meet the Meerkats
Meet our family group of inquisitive and mischievous Meerkats, Learn all about their busy lives. They eat a wide variety of foods so prepare to give them a treat which could include live insects, meat, eggs or even a healthy salad!

Birthday Parties
Here at Secret Valley, you can enjoy a birthday party with a difference!
You may arrive anytime after 10 or 11 a.m. (depending on month) and stay as long as you like – we close at 5 or 6 p.m. (depending on month)!
All the activities throughout the day are included as well.
Your Birthday Feast will be laid out in our Valley Café at your chosen time!

- Children aged 2 and under have Free Entry to the Park and a reduced rate of €3 for the Sweets/Crisps/Drinks.

- All you have to do is supply the cake!
We allow Free Admission for one adult per 5 children and additional adults are charged a reduced rate of €5. These adults should pay on arrival.

Summer Camps
At Secret Valley, our goal is to provide all of our campers with a unique, individual Summer Experience.
There will never be a dull moment! Specific details of our 2016 program to follow in due course! Be sure to book well in advance to avoid disappointment!

Schedule
For one week; Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We also offer a split week package for kids who can only make it for half a week etc. We will work with you to accommodate any circumstances.
