Ireland’s Wakeboarding Nationals | Ballyhass Wakepark | Aug 29–31

Looking for something different to wrap up the summer? Ballyhass Wakepark in Mallow will host the IWWF Irish Wakeboarding Nationals from August 29th to 31st - a high-energy weekend of sport, community and lakeside fun.

Ireland’s top wakeboarders will take to the water in a thrilling showcase of speed, skill and style. Whether you’re into the sport or seeing it for the first time, the action is fast, exciting and spectator-friendly.

But it’s not just about the competition. With free entry, €5 adventure activities and €2 swim passes (available onsite only), there’s plenty for families and visitors to enjoy. Relax with barista coffee, pizza and lakeside vibes at the Ballyhass Café while the pros hit the water.

The Rookies Open highlights how accessible the sport really is - and if you’re inspired to try it for yourself, Ballyhass Wake Crew will be on hand to chat about Learn to Wakeboard sessions. Wakeboarding is fast to learn, fun to master and backed by a friendly, growing community.

The Nationals are supported by Red Bull, Grown Clothing, The Sibly Food Co, Panza and the Irish Waterski & Wakeboard Federation.
