About Glenties Harvest Fair
Glenties Harvest Fair Festival returns with ten days of music, family activities, local traditions and community events. Taking place across two weekends and throughout the week, the festival includes sporting events, competitions, live entertainment and plenty of activities for children and families.
The opening weekend features the Harvest Fair Cycle, Kids Tractor Run, Family Fun Day, surf sessions, a treasure hunt, quad reversing, a soap box derby and pool competition, along with live music and evening entertainment. Throughout the week there are quizzes, comedy, live broadcasts, 5k races and local events around the town.
The final weekend includes Traditional Fair Day with craft displays, a sheep mart, horticulture show, live music, a float parade and tug of war. Families can also enjoy pet shows, street performances and children's activities before the festival comes to a close with more live music and community celebrations.
