Brigit: Dublin City Celebrating Women
The fourth edition of Brigit: Dublin City Celebrating Women returns from Friday, 31st January to Monday, 3rd February 2025, with its largest programme to date. Over 80 thematic events will take place across the city, offering an exciting and diverse celebration of women’s contributions to culture, society, and history.
Events include Children’s History Workshop: Brigid’s Crosses on Saturday with Dublin’s Historian in Residence for Children Dervilia Roche in Richmond Barracks, Shine On: Brigit at the GPO as it comes alive with stunning projections in honour of Brigit, the goddess of inspiration, creativity and renewal, experience a giant Brideog in Wild Ireland made from plant materials in the gardens in National Botanic Gardens and, of course, the Brigit 2025: Dublin City Celebrating Women parade on Sunday 2pm covering Capel St & Henry St and finishing on O'Connell St.
