Festival of Fire 2025 – Halloween Across Fingal

Halloween night is set to sparkle in Fingal as the Festival of Fire returns on Friday, 31st October. Organised by Fingal County Council’s Events Unit, this much-loved event will take place in four different locations across the county, each offering its own lively atmosphere and a shared night of music, colour and family fun.

The evening begins with a Scary Disco at 7pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks display at 7.30pm. Whether you’re in Balbriggan, Swords, Malahide or Blanchardstown, there’s plenty to enjoy.

Bremore Castle, Balbriggan

Set beside the historic Bremore Castle, this location offers a truly atmospheric setting. The disco kicks off at 7pm, giving families a chance to enjoy music and Halloween fun before the fireworks begin. At 7.30pm, the sky above the castle will be lit with a burst of colour as fireworks bring the night to life.

Important: There is no parking at this site. Visitors are encouraged to walk or cycle where possible.

Swords Town Park (Behind the Castle)

In Swords, the event takes place in the park just behind the castle. Families can arrive from 7pm to enjoy the disco, which brings a light-hearted start to the evening with music and dancing.

The fireworks begin at 7.30pm, creating a vibrant show above the town park.

Malahide Castle

One of the county’s most iconic locations, the grounds of Malahide Castle will provide a magical backdrop to this year’s Festival of Fire. The disco begins at 7pm, with space for children to dance, explore and soak up the Halloween atmosphere.

At 7.30pm, the castle will be silhouetted by fireworks lighting up the night sky in dramatic fashion.

Millennium Park, Blanchardstown

In Blanchardstown, Millennium Park will play host to families from all over the area. The disco starts at 7pm, offering a fun lead-in to the main event.

The fireworks follow at 7.30pm, rounding off the evening with a lively display in one of Fingal’s most popular green spaces.

Each event is free to attend and open to all. There are no tickets required, and visitors are advised to arrive early and dress for the weather. Please note that parking is limited or unavailable at some locations — walking, cycling or public transport is recommended.
