The Let’s Talk Science Festival is back at the Rediscovery Centre — and this year we’re celebrating 10 years of science, curiosity and fun!
Join us on Saturday 8th November for our special anniversary festival with the theme “10 Years of Let’s Talk Science”. It’s an all-day, family-friendly event packed with exciting STEM activities for all ages. From hands-on experiments to mind-blowing demonstrations, there’s something for every budding scientist to enjoy.
This year’s exhibitors include:
- Circus Science who will wow the crowds with scientists on stilts doing experiments right above your head!
- Marine Institute with a saltwater tank of starfish, hermit crabs and other amazing sea creatures.
- Met Éireann where you can try a weather green screen and take part in fun climate quizzes.
- Bat Conservation Ireland with bat detectors, quizzes and even clay bat crafts to take home.
- Our Kids Code where you can play music with vegetables or try rock-paper-scissors with coding wristbands.
- Airfield who’ll show you live wormeries and let you plant your very own seed to take home.
& lots more!
Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.
