The Christmas Circus of Wonders and Curiosities

The grounds of Lucan House will host a new festive production this winter as Broken Theatre, supported by South Dublin County Council, presents The Christmas Circus of Wonders and Curiosities.
Set within one of Dublin’s most historic estates, the show offers an imaginative retelling of Scrooge’s path to rediscovering the joy of Christmas.
Families can look forward to a mix of aerial performances high in the big top, contortion, dance hoops, fire displays, clowning and live music, all designed to capture the spirit of the season.
This production marks an important cultural moment for the estate, which is being reimagined by South Dublin County Council as a destination for arts, heritage and community events.
The Christmas Circus of Wonders and Curiosities is the first commercial event to be staged on site, adding a new chapter to Lucan House’s long history while opening its doors to families from across Dublin. With its blend of performance, atmosphere and seasonal storytelling, it offers a memorable Christmas night out in a remarkable setting.
