Drogheda Comic Con returns to the Barbican on 27th September following a sold-out show in 2024.
Expect world class costumes from the 501st, Reel Icons and Nexu Covert as well as kids and adults cosplay competitions hosted by Bellisme Cosplays and Phoebe Cosplays.
Special guest for the day, flying in from San Francisco, is Mary Gibbs who voiced Boo in the groundbreaking Monsters Inc. Marking her 1st ever Irish appearance, Mary will be meeting fans of the franchise and having a live chat about her voicework for Monsters Inc. as well as her voice being used for Baby Kiara in Lion King 2 and Baby Riley in Inside Out.
Michael Carroll will also appear to meet fans of Judge Dredd and will talk about his role writing Dredd stories for 2000ad and Judge Dredd Megazine, as well as penning novels including Dreadnoughts.
Damon Driver who played Sgt Duffy in the Captain America movies will also be talking to us about his experiences in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as his many appearances across the Star Wars Galaxy.
