Newgrange Farm is delighted to team up with Anthony Murphy of Mythical Ireland again for the Newgrange Farm Archaeological Park and Newgrange Chamber tour.
Anthony – author, photographer, tour guide and archaeological discoverer – will lead a tour of the archaeological monuments and their associated mythology on Newgrange Farm. The tour includes a visit to the Newgrange monument chamber with OPW guides.
The tours will take place on July 15th, August 12th & August 26th.. The archaeological landscape of Newgrange Farm constitutes a significant part of the Brú na Bóinne Unesco World Heritage Site and features an array of monuments dating as far back as the Neolithic around 5,000 years ago.
Tour participants will see some of these monuments, and hear all about the thrilling discovery of ‘Dronehenge’ from its discoverer, on a specially modified and covered trailer.
