Our programme of events showcases art in all its forms - music, literature, comedy, painting, sculpture, drama, film and so much more. Local artists will feature alongside some of the country’s most renowned creative minds at Ireland’s biggest small festival this summer. Thursday Thursday at Carrickmacross Arts Festival features a variety of cultural attractions; live drama 'What's for Dessert?' by the Farney Players, open air cinema screening short films from Clones film festival as well as the feature movie 'School of Rock', poetry and prose recitals in association with the Patrick Kavanagh centre, an exhibition of paintings by the Workhouse artists & children's entertainment by RTÉ Junior's Reuben. Friday Friday at Carrickmacross Arts Festival will feature our Comedy showcase from 9pm to Midnight with David Mc Savage, Reuben, Michael Downey, Lisa Casey, Barry Mack and Lorcan McGrane.
