The Clonmel Show returns to Clonmel Racecourse on Sunday 5th July 2026, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1865. One of the highlights of the summer calendar in Tipperary, the show combines agricultural excellence, family entertainment and local community spirit in a full day of activities and competitions.
Visitors can explore more than 20 competition and exhibition areas featuring cattle, sheep, goats, horses, ponies and poultry, alongside horticultural displays, baking, preserves, crafts, photography and art competitions. Equestrian enthusiasts can enjoy show jumping and horse classes, while livestock competitions showcase some of the finest animals from across the region.
Families will find plenty to keep children entertained, including a dedicated children’s area with bouncy castles, animal attractions and games. Popular attractions such as the Donkey Derby, pet show, Garda Unit demonstrations, tractor driving competitions, fencing skills displays and Toss the Sheaf competitions add to the festival atmosphere throughout the day.
With more than 100 trade stands, food vendors, floral displays, live music and free parking, Clonmel Show offers something for all ages. Whether competing, exhibiting or simply enjoying a day out, visitors can look forward to a lively celebration of rural life, local talent and community tradition.
