Get your sunscreen ready and fire up your appetite! The legendary Beach BBQ Festival is officially returning to Bray’s stunning seafront this July, promising to set the summer alight with mouth-watering flavours, vibrant tunes, and feel-good family vibes.
The ultimate coastal celebration takes place on Saturday, July 18th, and Sunday, July 19th, 2026, from 11 am to 7 pm each day. Best of all? Admission is completely FREE, and no ticket is required!
Sizzling Food & Tips
This year’s festival is a foodie’s paradise, packed with a smorgasbord of juicy BBQ meats, vibrant veggie delights, and global street food served fresh from the grill by top vendors. The Stage is Set: The Burger Boy Quad Challenge Grand Final!
A massive new competition is hitting the grill this year as the festival teams up with Burger Boy for the ultimate Quad Challenge.
The battle began early with intense qualifying heats that kicked off this June. Sign-ups have officially closed, and the field of hungry hopefuls has been narrowed down. Countless contenders put their speed and stomachs to the test against the legendary stack, but only the elite survived the preliminary rounds.
With the qualifications now complete, the top contenders are locked in to go head-to-head live on stage. The ultimate champion will be crowned during the Grand Final on Saturday, July 18th.
The Return of the Fan-Favourite Food Face-Offs
The competitive eating action doesn't stop there! The Hot Dog Eating Challenge returns with thanks to Gaucho’s Dog. Big appetite? Big glory. Will you step up and be crowned Bray’s hot dog champ for 2026? After a massive debut last year, the stakes are higher than ever.
Looking for serious heat instead? The infamous Hot Wings Challenge also returns to dare the bold and brave to take on tongue-tingling spice—no pre-registration needed for either competition; just listen for the PA announcements!
Fun for the Whole Crew
Beyond the food, Bray Seafront will be buzzing with energy all weekend long. Festival goers can expect Live DJ Sets to keep the summer soundtrack spinning, thrilling Funfair rides for all ages or chill out and sip a refreshing, ice-cold mocktail at the Salty Cove Bar.
Please note: The Beach BBQ Festival is an alcohol-free event. Charges apply to funfair attractions, food/craft vendors, and selected games.
