Our interactive heritage experience tells the story of 18th Century Cork, Nano Nagle’s inspiring work and the lives and work of the Presentation Sisters over time, and today.
Children are our very special guests, just as Nano would have wanted. We work hard to make sure there are lots of things for younger visitors to see and do during a visit to the heritage experience.
It is free to visit Nano Nagle’s tomb, and the gardens.
Guided Tours
Our heritage experience is designed to be self guided, but we run a guided tour at 15.00 every day, and at 11.00 and 15.00 on weekends.
The guided tour includes access to extra spaces, the Artefact Room and Miss Nagle’s Parlour, both housed in the oldest building on our site. We aim to keep our guided tour to around 50 minutes in length.
Afternoon tours are often given by a Presentation Sister. Please note, if you are a group of 8 or over we are happy to facilitate a guided tour outside these hours – it is not necessary to come at 15.00.
