About Hazelfort Visitor Farm
Hazel fort open farm features a traditional thatched cottage on a 50 acre family run working farm, located on the ring of Kerry N72. All weather affordable facility with a wide range of animals, birds and unique attractions. Babe our potbellied pig along with our famous border collies form part of the welcoming party.
Situated at the entrance to the 12th century historic Ballymalis castle, a must visit attraction. The farm is home to our pedigree herd of rare breed native Kerry cows. Pride of place is big bertha, the late Jerome O Leary’s Dromin cow a double Guinness world record holder for reaching the ripe old age of 48 years and producing 39 calves.
