Opened in 2010, Muckross Pet Farm is set on 10 acres with a wide variety of animals. This includes ponies, sheep, puppies, chickens, pot bellied pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, donkeys, miniature goats, ducks, geese, deer and chickens.
Also available are swings, slides and a play area both indoor and outdoor area. A picnic area is provided where tea/coffee, drinks and sweets can be purchased. Swings, slides and a play area both indoor and outdoor are also a feature. School tours and birthday parties are catered for.
In addition pony rides for small children and hourly horse riding can be arranged.
