Maize Maze at Dealgrove Farm, Laois Open Saturdays & Sundays from 26 July to October Excitement is building in Laois with the arrival of a brand-new family attraction opening this summer. Set on a real working farm just outside Abbeyleix, the Maize Maze at Dealgrove Farm is the first of its kind in the county — and it’s already turning heads. Beautifully carved into the shape of a giant tractor, the six-acre maze promises fun and adventure for all ages. Open every Saturday and Sunday from 26 July through to October, it’s a great way to get outdoors and explore the countryside. Children can follow a playful, educational trail as they make their way through the towering maize, learning about farming, crops and animals along the way. There’s even a life-sized dairy cow called Maisie that’s fitted with a real milking system for hands-on fun.
