Active Hyde is the centre that combines fitness and fun as the home of Tameside’s premier swimming attraction, Hyde Leisure Pool. The high spec fitness suite at Active Hyde attracts all those wishing to benefit from a varied and dynamic work out or relax in our rejuvenating thermal suite.

The Active Hyde centre is only a short distance from Hyde town centre, making it a central and easily accessible centre where you’ll find a great range of facilities to help you on your fitness journey, whether you’re interested in gyms, swims, group exercise or free weights you’ll find all you need in our bright and airy facility.

Hyde Leisure Pool is Tameside's premier swimming attraction - with waves, slides, water cannons and bubble beds, Hyde Leisure Pool has something for all.

The pool is a great place for all abilities of swimmers to enjoy the water, from walking into the pool at the shallow end and gradually increasing in depth to 1.8m at its deepest. Meaning that for little ones attending the Wally Walrus club lessons to stronger swimmers enjoying swimming lengths in the deep end, Hyde Leisure pool at Active Hyde is suitable for everyone.

During Swim, Slide and Waves sessions visitors can enjoy the Red Ripster Slide, Wave Machine, Water Rapids, Bubble Beds and Geysers – making the pool a vibrant and exciting place to visit.
