Set in woodland near the shores of Lough Neagh, Craigavon Golf and Ski Centre at Silverwood, near Lurgan, is a great facility that boasts Northern Ireland’s only outdoor artificial ski slope, plus two golf courses and putting greens.

The 300 ft main slope, nursery slope and snow tubing facilities ensure the whole family is catered for.

The two golf courses are set in mature parkland and offer many challenges. In addition there is two putting greens and a cafe on site.

The site is complemented by an attractive clubhouse catering for the needs of the visitor which include changing facilities and a restaurant with covered terrace overlooking the ski slope and golf courses.

Snow Sports

Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre is located just 30 minutes from Belfast and is the only artificial slope in the Northern Ireland and is the premier wintersports facility on the island.

The centre is open throughout the year and offers skiers and snowboarders of all levels and ages the facilities to practice and learn new skills. Tuition is provided by highly qualified instructors along with excellent modern equipment for schools, clubs, groups, families or individuals.

Our lesson programme is broken down into levels to help you progressively cover the skills needed to become a proficient slope user from beginner to advanced.

Recreational Session

Open practice is available for skiers and boarders to use our main slope, without tuition, It is available to experienced skiers and boarders. Sessions last for 1 hours.

Cost: Adult £8.00
Junior £5.50

For the enjoyment and safety of all of our customers, anyone wishing to enjoy the main slope without tuition must be an experienced slope user who meets our minimum skill level.

Therefore, you must be able to use the lifts, control your speed/direction, perform controlled linked turns and be able to fit your boots correctly.

Snow Tubing Parties

Excellent fun for everyone, snowtubing is one of our most popular activities. From 5 years and older, enjoy the exhilaration of snowtubing. Perfect for birthday parties and fun sessions snowtubing can be enjoyed as a single activity or part of our multi activity packages.

Why not add on our birthday special food from the Alpine Lodge cafe to complete your experience.

Snowtubing is extremely popular and it is advisable to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please note that snowtubing is an outdoor activity and will continue despite adverse weather conditions.

What to wear

Long sleeved tops and gloves are essential the centre cannot provide these on the day.

Snowtubing takes place in an outdoor environment and will continue even in inclement weather. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Golf

Silverwood golf course has 2 distinct courses for all to avail of, offering great membership offers and competitive pay and play rates. Par 72 18 Hole Golf course playing just under 7000 yards, a 15 Hole Par 3 course and a large putting green.

FootGolf is just what is says on the tin, two great sports combined football and golf to create the best game you will ever play. Play over 12 holes with a size 5 football. All you have to do is complete each hole, kicking the football into the oversized golf cup using your feet in as fewer shots as possible.
