About Westport Arts Festival
In 1976 Westport Arts Festival was established as a celebration for the townsfolk after a busy tourist season. This year marks the 43rd year of a festival that has grown in size and popularity. The event now draws a consistently loyal audience from right around the country.
This year's festival runs for six days from Wednesday, 24th October to Monday, 29th October and offers a strong and diverse selection of events to appeal to all ages and tastes.
Music
We have a stellar lineup of acts this year from club thumpers to mellow musos you are sure to find something to your taste.
Theatre
Fancy be hijacked by pirates or going GAA MAAAD? Our theatre programme this year is fast paced and fun filled!
Visual Arts
From visual art trails to immersive light sculptures, your eyes are in for a real feast during this years festival.
