Kilmihil Festival of Fun (FOF) is the only Festival in Ireland dedicated to FUN.
Taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the festival in Clare has a fun programme of events and activities to suit everyone in the family.
Looking for a proper family day out this August Bank Holiday? Head to Kilmihil in County Clare from Friday 31st July to Monday 3rd August 2025 for the return of the much-loved Kilmihil Festival of Fun — four packed days of sport, music, vintage displays, kids’ activities and good old-fashioned fun.
There’s usaully something happening every day, from soccer blitzes and 5K runs to children’s games, bonham racing and BBQs. Saturday includes Family Day at Kilmihil Rugby Club with a tag rugby tournament, games and a brilliant Duck Race on the River Camcor. Sunday brings the Kids’ Trad Session, the Ball Run and a community celebration with fireworks and the a Vintage Rally, Monster Field Day.
