Discover Santry Day brings together everything that makes Santry special, with a full day of family activities, local history, sports, music and community events taking place across the area. Organised by the Santry Forum, the festival celebrates the people, places and stories that have shaped this north Dublin community over the years.
Families can enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the day, including GAA mini games for all ages, children’s games, face painting, balloon making and entertainment designed to keep younger visitors busy. Community activities and family-friendly events create a fun and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal day out for local families.
The festival also shines a spotlight on Santry’s rich history and heritage. Visitors can join guided historical walks, explore local landmarks including St Pappin’s Church and Santry Demesne, and learn more about the area’s fascinating past through walking tours, presentations and historical film footage. There will also be opportunities to visit Morton Stadium and discover its importance in Irish athletics history.
