Leslie & Flo: "Natural Women" the Show

Leslie Dowdall and Flo McSweeney come together for the first time on stage with Natural Women at The Abbey Tavern on Friday 27th February. Taking place at 8.00pm, with doors opening at 7.30pm, the show marks a rare collaboration between two Irish rock icons whose friendship spans more than three decades.
Natural Women is an uplifting live performance celebrating the music and influence of two of the most enduring female songwriters of the twentieth century, Linda Ronstadt and Carole King. Backed by an all star band and accompanied by visual projections, the show blends classic songwriting with a warm and personal on stage dynamic.
Audiences can expect to hear well known songs including Up on the Roof, You’re No Good, I Feel the Earth Move and It’s Too Late. For many, these tracks formed part of the soundtrack of the 1970s, and the performance revisits them with care, character and a strong sense of shared musical history.
Rather than a tribute show, the focus is on connection, collaboration and longevity, with Dowdall and McSweeney bringing their own voices and experiences to the material. The result is a reflective and joyful evening that celebrates women in music, long standing friendship and the power of songs that continue to resonate across generations.
