Toy Library Circular New Year Swap&Play

Start the year with fun, community spirit and a fresh take on play at the Toy Library’s Circular New Year Swap&Play in Tallaght. Families are invited to bring along gently used toys to swap and donate while picking up something new-to-you to enjoy at home. With hands-on activities, creative play zones and a focus on sustainability, the event helps children learn about sharing and reuse in a fun, practical way.
Whether your child has outgrown a few favourites or received duplicate gifts over Christmas, this is a brilliant way to clear space and spread joy. Supported by Community Foundation Ireland, the event is open to Toy Library members and those interested in joining a growing community of families choosing to recirculate toys instead of buying new. Admission is free, with plenty of opportunities to learn, play and connect.
