About August Craft Month in Ireland
Support local makers and celebrate the largest ever August Craft Month in Ireland, with a packed programme of over 232 eclectic events across the entire month. This includes over 100 free events.
Everyone can get involved in this unique celebration of vibrant local craft, with unmissable opportunities to experience, participate in, support, buy and learn about the stand-out craft sector in all corners of the island.
Brought together by the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland, Craft NI and Cork Craft & Design, the packed programme ranges from workshops, exhibitions, fun festivals, insightful talks and tutorials, with well-known names such as Joe Hogan, Jim Turner, Scott Benefield and Andrea Spencer, as well as undiscovered creatives making waves in the local craft world.
People can immerse in creative craft celebrations on their doorstep, as well as hit the road on a craft inspired adventure or staycation.
