The 51st Dunmore Annual Festival will take place form the 1st to the 10th of August 2025
Dunmore Annual Festival has been putting on a fantastic programme of events for the community to enjoy for over 50 years making it one of the country’s longest running festivals and it is still going strong.
The festival’s success can be attributed to the local people and visitors who attend the events, the local businesses who generously support the festival and the dedicated committee’s who down through the years even in tough times, manage to organise a festival that the Parish of Dunmore can be proud of. Locals and Visitors from all corners of the world look forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones as well as many happy memories in Dunmore each year.
Each year the committee brings you an action packed programme of nearly 100 events to suit all ages. Highlights each year include the bank holiday Monday family Sports Day as well as 6K Road Race and the popular Traditional Market Day takes place on the Thursday of festival week. Featuring local crafts, traditional stalls with homemade produce, butter making, and a blacksmith demonstration in the square. A vintage display of thrashing, sheep shearing, wood turning, turf cutting will take place. It is a day not to be missed.
