Rose of Tralee International Festival

Celebrating its 66th year, the Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Ireland’s best-known and longest-running festivals. Taking place from 15th to 19th August in Tralee, it brings together young women of Irish heritage from across the world for a unique celebration of Irish identity and culture.
While the highlight is the live televised Rose Selection nights, the festival is packed with events for all ages. Visitors can enjoy live concerts, parades, street performances, markets, a funfair, theatre, circus and fireworks across five lively days. With more than 100,000 people attending each year, the festival continues to grow in popularity and reach.
The search for the 2025 Roses and Rose Escorts is now underway, with selection events taking place across Ireland and around the world. The chosen Roses will take part in a nationwide tour before arriving in Tralee to represent their counties, cities or countries on the international stage.
