The Barretstown Big Picnic is back!
The Big Picnic returns to Barretstown for another memorable family day out, welcoming visitors to enjoy a packed programme of outdoor activities, entertainment and community fun. Taking place on Sunday 16 August, the Barretstown campus will be open throughout the day, giving families the opportunity to experience everything the charity’s unique camp has to offer.
General admission includes access to a wide range of activities including canoeing, archery, horse riding, mini golf, giant games, face painting, dancing and more. Visitors can also browse food stalls, enjoy live entertainment and spend the day exploring the beautiful Barretstown grounds with family and friends.
A special highlight of this year’s event is the arrival of Fossett’s Circus, with three performances taking place during the day. Circus tickets must be booked separately in advance and availability is limited. Whether you’re visiting for the activities, the entertainment or simply to experience the atmosphere, The Big Picnic promises a fantastic day out for all ages.
