Kilkenny Christmas Tree Festival
The 4th annual Kilkenny Christmas Tree Festival will run from Dec 9th to Dec 11th 2018 at St Canice's Cathedral, featuring Christmas trees of all kinds! Some 120 trees of all shapes and sizes will fill the Cathedral and each one is a work of imagination and art. Many local schools, businesses and organisations participate as will individuals. Tea, coffee and fruit punch will be served and a stall selling seasonal goodies will be a treat. Workshops and gingerbread decorating are organised as part of the festival. ours of the belfry provide a fantastic opportunity for people to see the belfry which is usually not part of the visitor’s experience. There is a wonderful civic, engaging atmosphere in the Cathedral during this very special festival. This is an annual event in the city and has become a Christmas experience that people cannot miss. 7th -12th December.
