Ballina St. Patricks Day Parade
The town’s parade takes place this year on Thursday, March 17th from 4:30pm, a mid afternoon start that means that there’s time to take in several of the great parades around North Mayo, if one wishes!
The parade will commence on Mercy Road proceeding from Convent Hill through town on Garden Street, Hill Street past the Mary Robinson Centre and finishing at St. Muredach's Cathedral and will be followed by a super fireworks extravaganza from 7pm at the Salmon Weir Bridge.
Cheer on the energetic procession featuring Ballina’s gifted music and dance groups, talented juvenile sporting clubs, and plethora of clubs and groups in Ballina.
In between the parade and fireworks families and visitors can stay in town, and enjoy the facilities of the cafes, restaurants, hotels, and bars with live music and traditional entertainment planned in many, as well as a mini funfair in Ballina’s market square.
As part of Ballina's St Patricks Day celebrations, join the fun of the fair in Ballina's market square as Carousel Enterprises kiddie’s funfair comes to town, from 2pm until 7pm.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a great opportunity to applaud all that makes Ballina a great place to live.
