The Monaghan Tractor Pulling Competition returns to Clontibret for another weekend of engine-roaring action, community spirit and family fun. Held in association with the Irish Tractor Pulling Committee, this year’s event features a full-scale truck show, live music, amusements and plenty to keep all ages entertained across two days.

Tractor and truck fans can look forward to competitive pulling, judged entries and a prizegiving on Sunday, with weigh-in starting from 10am Saturday and 9am Sunday. Drivers must book in advance, and late entries won’t be accepted for tractor pulls on Sunday. Shower blocks are on-site and all event signage will guide you in from Clontibret. Separate entry applies for drivers, with general admission paid at the gate.

Off-track, families can enjoy a kids’ sensory zone, bouncy castles from AC Flash Hire, amusements and food vendors including chip vans, ice cream and coffee docks. Saturday night sees live music from the Fuzzy Burgers and a Head & Beard Shave in aid of SNAP Monaghan. On Sunday, Looney Choons keep the stage rocking into the afternoon. All proceeds from the weekend will support local causes including Errigal Truagh Special Needs Parents & Friends and SNAP Monaghan.
