From 23rd October to 3rd November, our Midterm line-up offers something for everyone. Highlights include a spooky Halloween Trail, the Bird Spotting Guide, the Red Tree Trail with its 65 spectacular trees in full autumnal colour, the Gallery Challenge, and the Solar Trail.
Dress up in your favourite Halloween costume! Children are encouraged to dress up for the occasion, adding to the festive atmosphere. It’s the perfect opportunity to take memorable photos in the picturesque autumn landscape.

Birr Castle Demesne is open daily from 09:00 to 16:30 throughout the Halloween Midterm Break. Visitors can also take time to explore the beautiful gardens and parklands, and marvel at the Great Telescope — once the largest in the world.
